Simon asked 1 year ago

Hi there,

I'm interested in booking a 9-day tour in Morocco that starts in Marrakech and includes visits to the Sahara Desert and the Blue City. Can you provide me with some more information on your tour options and pricing? I'm looking to travel in 06/10, and my budget is around 3000euro.

Thanks, and I look forward to hearing back from you.

Best regards, Simon

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out and for your interest in our services.

Here is a suggested itinerary for a tour from Marrakech to the Sahara and the Blue City:

Day 1: Marrakech

Arrive in Marrakech and check into your hotel. Spend the day exploring the city's bustling markets, ornate palaces, and beautiful gardens. Be sure to visit the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square, where you can sample local street food and watch street performers.

Day 2: Marrakech to Ouarzazate

After breakfast, depart Marrakech and drive through the High Atlas Mountains to Ouarzazate. Along the way, you'll pass through the Tizi n'Tichka Pass, which offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. In Ouarzazate, visit the Atlas Film Studios and Kasbah Taourirt, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Day 3: Ouarzazate to Merzouga

Today you'll travel further into the Sahara Desert, stopping in the picturesque town of Tinghir to visit the Todra Gorge. After lunch, continue to the dunes of Erg Chebbi near Merzouga, where you'll ride camels into the desert to your campsite.

Day 4: Merzouga to Fez

Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes, then return to Merzouga by camel. After breakfast, drive to Fez, one of Morocco's oldest and most fascinating cities. Along the way, stop in Erfoud to visit a local fossil factory and the ruins of the ancient city of Sijilmasa.

Day 5: Fez

Spend the day exploring Fez, which is known for its well-preserved medieval architecture and bustling markets. Highlights include the Bou Inania Madrasa, the Dar Batha Museum, and the tanneries of the Fes el Bali district.

Day 6: Fez to Chefchaouen

Depart Fez and drive to the Blue City of Chefchaouen. This picturesque town is known for its blue-painted buildings and stunning mountain scenery. Spend the day wandering the winding streets and browsing the local markets.

Day 7: Chefchaouen to Tangier

After breakfast, depart Chefchaouen and drive to Tangier, a bustling port city on the Strait of Gibraltar. Along the way, stop in the historic town of Tetouan to see its well-preserved medina and Andalusian-style architecture.

Day 8: Tangier

Spend the day exploring Tangier, which has a rich history as a cultural crossroads between Europe and Africa. Visit the Kasbah Museum, the Tangier American Legation Museum, and the Caves of Hercules.

Day 9: Departure

Transfer to the Tangier airport for your departure flight.

This itinerary can be customized to fit your specific interests and needs. Enjoy your trip to Morocco!
