Not very good in Moroccan Arabic

“Not so good” in Moroccan Arabic can be expressed as “Mashi Mezian”. This is a way of saying that something is not very good.

Here are some examples of when you can use it, for example, if you ask someone how you are doing while you are sick, the answer is: “Mashi Mezian, Ana Mraid! (Not so good, I’m sick)” (this is for male because we have added “Marid” which means sick, for female, it is “Mashi Mezian, AnaMarida (Not so good, I’m sick)”, so an “a” at the end of “Marid”.
