On this 3-day, 2-nights adventure to Merzouga and Erg Chebbi you will discover the magic sight of the big south of Morocco. During the course of your quest you will have a close personal experience of the desert, including an opportunity to visit different oasis, explore an UNESCO World Heritage site and spend the night time beneath the stars in a camp inside the middle of the Sahara Desert. The first day having collection from your Marrakech accommodation, continuing into the Atlas Mountains and cross the Tizi-n-Tichka pass. You’ll also visit the UNESCO World Heritage : the historical site of Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah nearby Ouarzazate. The first night will be in Boulmaine du Dadès. On day two we travel towards the “ valley of 1,000 Kashbahs”. We will be able to visit the Gorges of Dades and Todra. Invest the evening enjoying traditional music of the local nomads during dinner under thousands of stars. On day three you’ll ride your camel back to the Hotel in Merzouga. After shower we drive towards the valley of the Draa and we visit the Kashba of Tamnougalt. After lunch we heading back through the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech.

Day 1: Marrakech – Dades Valley
Depart from Marrakech and enjoy the view of the Berber Villages. Spend some time in the Ait Benhaddou as it has garnered the attention of movie producers for it’s wonderful natural scenery. Cross the river with a local guide and then discover The Ksar. From there, you can consider climbing the hill if you want to have a glimpse of the majestic beauty of the fertile river valley that is surrounded by the dessert. What makes this experience great is that you would also be able to see the Atlas Mountains that have been covered in snow in the background. After all the adventures during the day, be able to rest in a traditional hotel.
Day 2: Dades Valley – Merzouga – Erg Chebbi
Drive through the Dades Valley’s Berber Villages in order for you to reach a spot that has been popular for both natives and tourists who wants to engage in rock climbing. In there, you would be able to see high walls containing rocks of grey and pink color. You can also trek along the 300m high canyons. After the drive, you would then experience riding the camel for more than an hour. However, you are given an assurance that the entire travel would be fun. You will overnight in a camp in the middle of the dunes of Erg Chebbi.
Day 3: Erg Chebbi – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
Wake up early in order for you to witness another great sunrise as you watch it over the Erg Chebbi dunes. This is something that you should never miss. We return by camel and have breakfast in the hotel. After filling your stomach with good food, it is now time for you to visit the Draa valley, a place that many have been wanted to visit.
