Todra Gorge Excursion

Departure from Ouarzazate in the morning to go to the oasis of Skoura, about 40 km from Ouarzazate. We visit an old Kasbah of Glaoui which is called Kasbah Amerdile and have a half-hour walk in the palm gardens. Then we pass through the Valley of Roses, which is famous for roses originating from Damascus. The roses are exported all over Morocco. We visit a women’s cooperative where natural products are made from roses.
We cross the Dades valley with its 1000 Kasbah and amazing landscapes to the foot of the High Atlas at Boumalne du Dades and have a photo stop at a nice place.

We have lunch in Todra Gorge with its steep walls, a famous place for climbing and it is also a unique cool location in summer for Moroccan people to spend a day.

After lunch, we have a one-hour walk in and around the gorge and the Todra valley.
Back to Ouarzazate in the afternoon by the same road as we took in the morning.
