Depart in the morning at 8:30 am from Marrakech to the direction of the high Atlas Mountains. The Ourika valley is located about 68 km from the southeast of Marrakech. It’s a beautiful place to enjoy your day trip, the freshness of the Ourika river with a number of little waterfalls and to admire the little quiet typical Berbers villages which are built against the red mountains. At an altitude of 1700 meters from where different trails start to the famous waterfalls, down into the valley, lie gardens and cultivated land which are shaded by numerous fruit trees. If it happens to travel with us on Monday, you can even stop at a roadside souk where the oldest Berbers of the country commend their wares.

The climb to the first waterfall is fairly straightforward and at that point, you have already a fascinating view over the Ourika Valley and the mountains of Yagour. The local guide will bring you to the waterfalls. Ourika day trip from the red city (Marrakech) will give you the opportunity to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city of Marrakech and bring you closer to nature. When we come back from the small forest, we have lunch in one of the nice local restaurants.

After lunch we will drive and hiking around the valley enjoying views of the mountains and wonderful landscapes.
