Hello, I am curious about the locations where fossils are commonly found in Morocco and what types of fossils occur there.

Why are so many fossils found in Morocco?

Morocco has an abundance of fossils, perhaps most of them in desert areas. Fossils of trilobites, ammonites and other prehistoric life, including coral and shark teeth, can be found around the town of Erfoud, not far from the desert's famous Erg Chebbi dunes.
