Located about 40 kilometers outside Marrakech, the Agfaye Desert has a rural landscape with a rocky desert-like plateau and hilly terrain at the foot of the High Atlas Mountains rather than sandy dunes. If you want to see the sandy desert, you should go to the Erg Chegaga Desert or Erg Chebbi Desert.
