We depart by 4×4 in the morning across the Tizi n’Tifft through the Draa Valley to the Berber village Agdz. We leave the paved road and drive through green oases and villages to Zagora where we have lunch. We continue from M’Hamid to Erg Lihoudi where we spend the night. Dinner is served in a Berber tent.
We wake up early for the sunrise in the desert. After breakfast, we drive to Tamgroute. We visit the Quran library, known for its old religious books, and take a look at the pottery workshops. In Agdz we have lunch and time to visit the souk and enjoy a mint tea at one of the terraces. At the end of the day, we drive back to Ouarzazate where we arrive at around 18.00.
