In Arabic, you can say “Min Fadlik” for man and “Min fadliki”  for women to mean “please”. It is often used to express kindness. In Arabic script, it is written as: “من فضلك”.  “Afak” for men and “Afaki” for women is the most used phrase in Moroccan Darija.

Here are some examples when you can use “Afak” for men and “Afaki” for women:

Asking a woman for one tea: Afaki, wahd atay? (please, one tea )
